Unpacking...

Property could be your next mission.

For serving personnel and veterans. Leaving the forces doesn't mean starting from zero. The planning, standards and calm under pressure you already have are exactly what property rewards. We'll show you the route, and walk it with you.

Why property suits ex-military

Not because you've got a resettlement grant to spend. Because the way you were trained is the way property actually works.

It runs on process
Property rewards people who follow a system and check the detail. Not salesmen, not gamblers. That's how you were trained.
It works around a life that moves
With a team on the ground, you can own in Hull and live anywhere. Postings, moves and family relocations don't stop it.
It's a long campaign
You think in campaigns, not quick wins. Property builds over years, one objective at a time.
It gives you an objective again
Leaving means losing the structure around you. A pathway gives you phases, objectives and a team to work with.

You stay in command. We do the legwork.

You don't need to become a full-time landlord. You do what you were trained to do: set the objective, check the numbers, give the green light. Our team on the ground in Hull carries out the rest.

Set the objective — We build the plan
A strategy built on your numbers: your capital, the buffer you keep back and the income you're aiming for.
Check the numbers — We find and analyse the deals
Sourced in Hull by our team on the ground, and every deal checked with you, pre-tax, against the JPU scales.
Give the green light — We run the purchase
Solicitor, lender, surveyor and trades on one timeline, with a plan for when one slips.
Inspect the standard — We coordinate the refurb
Materials, trades and sequencing, so the job finishes on time and on budget. Optional, if you want it.
Take the briefing — We handle the curveballs
A delayed completion or a tenant issue is dealt with by the team on the ground. You get the update and make the call.

The pathway: five phases

  1. Know your numbers (before you leave): what capital you actually have, what you keep back as a buffer, and the monthly income you are aiming for.
  2. Get mortgage-ready (while on a salary): lenders look hard at income and employment. Speak to a broker before your circumstances change, not after.
  3. Pick one strategy (decide): single let, hybrid, HMO or social housing. One objective, fully resourced, beats three half-done.
  4. Buy with a team on the ground (deploy): our team sources, analyses and refurbs in Hull while you sign off every decision.
  5. Run it, then scale (sustain): compliance diary, a good agent, an annual review. Recycle capital into the next one when the numbers allow.

Still serving: start at phases 01 and 02 and use the salary while you have it. On resettlement: start at phases 02 and 03. Already out: start at phase 03.

Investors from all over the world buy UK property through JPU

You don't need to live in the UK to own in the UK. Investors buy from postings, bases and homes across the globe, while the team on the ground sources, analyses and refurbishes. You sign off every decision from wherever you are.

What this can become in 3 to 5 years

First property, then recurring rental income, a second and third deal, a portfolio that runs with systems and a team, and full-time if you choose. An illustration, not a promise: how far and how fast you go depends on your capital, the deals you buy and the market.

Amy made the move

Amy served in the Army, then moved into property. She's a JPU Masters student, has bought two properties, and is now on Fast-Track with an auction deal in progress with our team.

Fast-Track: walk the pathway faster

You can walk the pathway on your own. Fast-Track puts a team beside you for phases 03 to 05, so you get there quicker and with fewer mistakes. You make the decisions. We do the legwork.

Time to your first property: the average UK investor takes 6–7 months to buy. With JPU Fast-Track it takes 1.5–3 months, at least twice as fast. Individual timelines depend on finance, location and chain.

Strategy
On your own: pieced together from videos and forums. With Fast-Track: built on your numbers, not someone else's.
Finding deals
On your own: evenings on property portals, from a distance. With Fast-Track: sourced in Hull HU5 by our team on the ground.
Analysis
On your own: your best guess on a spreadsheet. With Fast-Track: every deal checked with you, pre-tax, against the JPU scales.
Refurb
On your own: managing trades you've never met. With Fast-Track: coordinated by our team, if you want it.
Finance
On your own: finding a broker who gets investors. With Fast-Track: introductions through JPM, an introducer, not a lender.

James Coupland, founder

I started investing at 19 and have been buying in the same patch for over twelve years. Single lets, HMOs, hybrid lets, BRR and now social housing. I live in Thailand with my family. My team is on the ground in Hull and the portfolio runs without me in the room. That's the model Fast-Track gives you, which is why it works whether you're posted in Catterick, Cyprus or already home.

Questions

I've never invested before. Is this realistic for me?

Yes. The pathway starts from zero: your numbers first, then one strategy, then a team on the ground. The assessment tells you honestly whether now is the right time, or what to do first.

Who qualifies for the forces rate?

Serving regulars, reservists and veterans of the UK Armed Forces. Show an HM Armed Forces Veteran Card, your MOD 90 or a Defence Discount Service card on your call with the team, and the 10% comes off before you pay anything.

I'm still serving and posted away. Can I still do this?

Yes. Fast-Track is built for investors who aren't on site. Our team handles viewings, trades and lettings in Hull, and you sign off each decision remotely. If you're serving, check any rules on business interests that apply to you before you start.

Can I use my ELC for Fast-Track?

No. Enhanced Learning Credits only fund nationally recognised qualifications at Level 3 or above, through ELCAS-approved providers. Fast-Track is an investment service, not a qualification, so it sits outside the scheme. That's why we offer the forces rate instead.

How much money do I need?

Fast-Track starts from a £50k budget, which needs to cover the deposit, buying costs and any refurb. The assessment tells you whether your numbers work before you spend anything. For mortgage questions, speak to JPM. JPM is an introducer, not a lender.

Is this financial advice?

No. We show you how we analyse and run deals, and every figure is pre-tax. Your tax position depends on you, so speak to an accountant, and take independent advice on finance and legal matters before you commit.
